Over the years, he has also developed a "hypersocial" attitude and insists spending whole days on my lap, attacking his tail whenever I have to remove him or his food bowl is "empty" (it never is, but he insists it is). Needless to say he also decided that 3 a.m. is the best time for rehearsing his serenades and doors are completely useless, as they have to be kept open at all times.

But he's an incredibly charming bloke when visitors come to see him. He even convinced a cat-hating dog-lover and control-freak to become a slave, who is now constantly slobbering over getting the right cat food (i.e. fresh meat every two days) and being remote controlled.
